Getting Started

Tools for tiling:
Tiles - Pliers and standard screwdrivers - Tile Adhesive - Straightedge/level - Tile grout - Putty knife/scraper - Notched trowel - Rubber float/squeegee - Tile spacers - Sponge - Tape measure - Clean Cloths for polishing - Chalk & Chalk line - Tile sealer and cleaner - Carpenters square - Tile cutter/nipper.

Handy Hints:

• Try to avoid cut tiles at focal points of the eye i.e.: entryway, the first corner you see as you walk into the room.
• Ues as many full tiles as possible.
• Avoid small narrow cuts; try to keep cut tiles no less than 1/2 its original size if possible.

Preparation:
All areas to be tiled must be clean, dry and free from dust, grease, wax, curing compounds and all other contaminates.
